Miss Mimi is an exceptional ballet teacher. In just two lessons, I was able to complete the full choreography for my solo, the fastest I’ve ever progressed. What stands out most is her attention to detail. She clearly explains how to use each muscle, maintain balance, and refine technique, and she demonstrates everything herself with precision and grace. She also thoughtfully chose the Columbine Variation to help strengthen my turning technique, targeting exactly what I needed to improve. I feel truly supported and inspired under her guidance. She is a generous and devoted teacher who shares all her knowledge wholeheartedly.

Being an adult in my early 20s, I was unsure where to begin when it came to ballet dancing. I had tried other adult dance studios around Adelaide until I came across Mimi and the team at UniSA Ballet Club. Mimi was not only warm in her welcoming nature but also spent time explaining and demonstrating the art of ballet to a complete newbie who had never seen a ballet recital before, paving the way for this " newbie" to gain the confidence and skills to perform for companies all over Australia. I can't thank Mimi enough for her guidance support and reassurance that it doesn't matter what age you begin ballet everyone can become a confident active and strong ballerina I can't talk highly enough of Mimi's teaching techniques especially for an older student and the confidence she gave me has gone a long way to assisting me in gaining new promotions at work and trying new activities such as Acro.
