Beyond Ballet Gala is a multi-bill performance season featuring original and adapted ballet works. Each piece is created and shaped independently by local choreographers and classically trained dancers.
Ballet Rogue debuted as Bloom Ballet Gala with a sold-out season at Adelaide Fringe 2025. In 2026, it returns under a new show title, with a stronger focus on creation and a broader scope. This year’s season includes both metro and regional performances for audiences across the state and online.
Ballet Rogue supports artists whose talent is beyond the mainstream. We take the art form of ballet seriously and our artists' technical and artistic strengths are diverse and not limited by affiliation.
Beyond Ballet Gala proudly provides a space for local choreographers to work closely with skilled classical dancers on pieces that deserve to be performed. We desire to curate ballet shows that are worth watching and dancing to.

There are several ways to join us to experience another best Fringe season...
Dancers (unpaid): We are welcoming a broader range of dancers this year. All dancers will receive an Artist Pass and food catering during the show days.
Metro area performances - Open to advanced, pre-professional, semi-professional and ex-professional ballet dancers with strong classical technique for group works. Proficiency in pointe work and a fast learning ability are preferred. Rehearsal schedules are flexible and will be arranged with each choreographer.
Regional performances - Open to dancers with intermediate classical training or higher to join group work or solo. Pointe work is not required, but commitment and reliability are essential. Ballet Rogue will provide transport from the metro area to regional venues (North and South) for shows.
Volunteers (unpaid): We warmly welcome volunteers who would like to support this production, such as backstage assistants, front of house and more. All volunteers will receive an Artist Pass, food catering during the show days and complimentary tickets.
Collaborators & Staff: We are open to collaboration with artists from other disciplines and elite dance professionals. We also invite industry professionals to join our team in production support roles.
Sponsors: We are actively seeking both financial and in-kind sponsors to help us bring ballet to diverse audiences across South Australia. We welcome partnerships with local and international businesses and are happy to discuss the benefits and visibility options available.
